NATIONAL SECURITY ALERT: THE ALBANESE DEEPFAKE SYNDICATE EXPOSED

A FACAN investigation has dismantled a sophisticated, multi-million dollar international fraud syndicate that is weaponizing AI-generated deepfakes of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to drain the bank accounts of everyday Australians.

Operating under the banner of "Quantum AI," this criminal hydra has infiltrated major advertising networks on Quora and X (formerly Twitter), using the Prime Minister’s likeness to bypass security protocols and lure victims into a high-tech financial trap.

The Anatomy of the Hijack

The scam begins with a coordinated "Authority Hijack." Deceptive advertisements appearing on trusted platforms redirect users to a fraudulent news site (onlineeducationtools.com). There, a fabricated interview claims the Prime Minister appeared on Network 10’s The Project to endorse an automated wealth-building tool.

FACAN forensics confirmed the site is a hollow shell, registered just 72 hours ago through a proxy in Iceland. Its only function? To capture the names and phone numbers of unsuspecting Australians.

Inside the Boiler Room

Once a victim’s data is harvested via a terminal portal (ai-innovate-hub.com), the "Quantum AI" boiler room strikes. Within minutes, victims receive high-pressure calls from offshore operators demanding a "$250 deposit."

FACAN tracked a live transaction through this funnel, revealing the syndicate's financial plumbing. The funds were not "invested"; they were captured by a shell company identified as OPEN HUBB SL LTD. To hide their trail, the syndicate adds a hidden markup, charging victims nearly $400 AUD for a "standard" $250 USD entry fee.

FACAN Takes the Fight to the Source

As of this morning, FACAN has initiated a series of high-level strikes to dismantle this infrastructure:

  • Federal Handover: A complete intelligence dossier, including merchant IDs and transaction receipts, has been handed to the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and the ACSC.

  • Prime Ministerial Briefing: We have formally alerted the Prime Minister’s Office to the unauthorized use of his likeness in this cross-platform attack.

  • Infrastructure Siege: Formal takedown notices have been served to Namecheap and Cloudflare, demanding the immediate sinkholing of the syndicate’s server network.
